Hoffenheim 2 – Arminia 0: Visitors leave the Pre Zero Arena empty handed

Arminia Bielefeld on away loss to Hoffenheim at the Pre Zero Arena on Sunday. Hoffenheim were hoping to get something from this game after losing their last game 2-0 to Mainz. Arminia, on the other hand, had to settle for a draw 1-1 against B Mönchengladbach. After today’s result, Hoffenheim are in 5th place, with 34 points from 22 matches, while Arminia sit in 15th, with 22 points from 22.

From Kraichgau region started the game well, with a goal from Benjamin Hubner at the 22 minute mark, finishing the first half 1-0.

Hoffenheim fought back, thanks to Georginio Rutter finding the net, 51 minutes in and seeing the game end 2-0.

For Hoffenheim, Pavel Kaderabek, Jacob Bruun Larsen, Stefan Posch, Havard Nordtveit and Sebastian Rudy, came on for Georginio Rutter, Ihlas Bebou, Benjamin Hubner, Diadie Samassekou and Dennis Geiger. Arminia replaced Amos Pieper, Florian Kruger, Jacob Laursen, Janni Serra and Masaya Okugawa for Guilherme Ramos, Robin Hack, George Bello, Fabian Klos and Bryan Lasme.

The referee booked Dennis Geiger and Florian Grillitsch for Hoffenheim.

Hoffenheim will next play Wolfsburg away, with Arminia facing Union Berlin at home.
