Hertha 2 – Stuttgart 0: The Old Lady take all 3 points at the Olympiastadion

Hertha’s 2-0 win over Stuttgart on Sunday, was hard fought at the Olympiastadion. Hertha were looking to pick up points, following a 1-0 victory against Augsburg. Stuttgart, on the other hand, had managed to pick up a single point in their encounter with Mainz. After today’s result, Hertha and Stuttgart are 15th, (32 points) and 16th, (28 points), spots respectively, after 31 matches.
Hertha started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, with an early goal from Davie Selke in the 4th minute to take them into the break 1-0 up.
The Old Lady continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to Ishak Belfodil finding the net just before the final whistle. They managed to see the game out with a clean sheet and a final score of 2-0.
