Greuther Fürth 1 – Cologne 1: Honours even and points shared at Sportpark Ronhof Thomas Sommer

On Saturday, Greuther Fürth and Cologne were held to a 1-1 draw at Sportpark Ronhof Thomas Sommer. Greuther Fürth were looking to get back their winning ways after losing their last game 4-1 to Bayern Munich. Cologne were coming from a 1-0 win against Eintracht Frankfurt. As the table looks today, Greuther Fürth are in 18th place on the table and has 14 points while Cologne sit in 8th with 36 points after 24 matches.
After a goalless first half, Whatever was said in the dressing room at half time, seemed to have a positive effect on Cologne who started the second half well, thanks to Florian Kainz finding the net, 53 minutes in. In the end though, their lead was short lived, as Sebastian Griesbeck equalised for Greuther Fürth, 69 minutes in. The game ended wih a 1-1 draw.
