Dortmund 5-0 Stuttgart: Bellingham scores again as Dortmund romp to victory

Borussia Dortmund ease to a comfortable 5-0 win at the Signal Iduna Park. Dortmund were hoping to get something from this game after losing 2-0 to Union Berlin in their last match. Stuttgart were looking to extend their winning run after a 4-1 victory against Bochum. Dortmund and Stuttgart sit 4th, (19 points) and 16th, (8 points), in the table respectively, after 11 matches.

Die Borussen dominated the first half, with an early goal from Jude Bellingham in the 2nd minute. Dortmund looked to have the match under control when they scored again to grab the advantage, thanks to a goal from Niklas Sule, at 13 minutes to establish a 2-0. Dortmund then netted again and increased their lead thanks to a goal from Giovanni Reyna just before half-time to see out the first half 3-0.

Dortmund staged a comeback in the second half, when Jude Bellingham found the net once more, 53 minutes in. They then scored again, pulling level thanks to a goal from Youssoufa Moukoko after 72 minutes to make it 5-0.

Substitutions for Dortmund included Emre Can, Thorgan Hazard, Anthony Modeste, Felix Passlack and Marius Wolf for Nico Schlotterbeck, Karim Adeyemi, Giovanni Reyna, Mats Hummels and Raphael Guerreiro, respectively. Stuttgart brought on Chris Fuhrich, Nikolas Nartey, Juan Jose Perea, Luca Pfeiffer and Atakan Karazor, to replace Silas Wamangituka, Enzo Millot, Tiago Tomas, Sehrou Guirassy and Naouirou Ahamada.

The referee booked Salih Ozcan for Dortmund.

Dortmund will next travel to Eintracht Frankfurt, while Stuttgart will face Augsburg at home.
