Dortmund 1 – Arminia 0: Die Borussen relieved after narrow win at home

Dortmund enjoyed a mesmerising home victory against Arminia Bielefeld at the Signal Iduna Park on Sunday. Dortmund wanted to continue adding points after a 1-1 draw against Augsburg. Arminia were beaten 1-0 in the previous match against Augsburg. As the table looks today, Dortmund are currently 2nd with 53 points from 26 matches, while Arminia sit in 15th, with 25 points from 26.
Dortmund started strongly in the first half, with Marius Wolf finding the net, 21 minutes in to see out the first half 1-0. Both teams struggled to produce anything meaningful in the second half, leaving the final score at 1-0.
Both teams used all available substitutes. For Dortmund, Erling Haaland, Giovanni Reyna, Julian Brandt and Lennard Maloney, came on for Donyell Malen, Thorgan Hazard, Marius Wolf and Felix Passlack, Arminia brought on Fabian Klos and Burak Ince, to replace Robin Hack and Patrick Wimmer.
There were bookings for Emre Can from Dortmund. For Arminia, Cedric Brunner saw yellow.
