Arminia 1 – Stuttgart 1: The Blues held to a draw by visiting The Reds

Arminia were held to 1-1 draw by Stuttgart down on Saturday at the Schüco Arena. Arminia arrived at the game looking pick up points, following a previous defeat to Mainz. Stuttgart were able to continue their winning streak after a 3-2 win against Augsburg in their last match. As the table looks today, Arminia are in 16th place on the table and has 26 points while Stuttgart sit in 14th with 27 points after 28 matches.
Stuttgart started the first half well, with Sasa Kalajdzic giving The Reds the lead, 25 minutes in, to take a 0-1 lead into half time.
The Blues took the initiative in the second half, thanks to Florian Kruger finding the net, at 59 minutes, leaving the final score at 1-1.
For Arminia, Fabian Klos, Jacob Laursen, Masaya Okugawa, Bryan Lasme and Nathan De Medina, came on for Janni Serra, Andres Andrade, Patrick Wimmer, Florian Kruger and Cedric Brunner. Stuttgart replaced Orel Mangala and Alexis Tibidi with Chris Fuhrich and Omar Marmoush.
There were bookings for Cedric Brunner from Arminia. For Stuttgart, Sasa Kalajdzic, Waldemar Anton, Tiago Tomas, Atakan Karazor and Orel Mangala saw yellow.
Arminia will next travel to Wolfsburg, while Stuttgart will face Borussia Dortmund at home.
