Currently sitting in fourteenth place, Stuttgart will travel to Arminia, who are three places lower in the League and sit in seventeenth place.

Arminia Bielefeld require a positive result, as Stuttgart go to the Schüco Arena

If Arminia’s season is to maintain on track, they must put their recent poor form to an end in this game. In their last two outings, they lost 4-0 at Mainz and 1-0 at Borussia Dortmund.

Also, the relegation zone is not where Arminia want to be at the end of the season, but that is where they are heading, unless they can get out of their losing habit. The Blues have lost four of their last four meetings in the Bundesliga. With 25 points (5W, 12L and 10D), they are established in seventeenth position in the League having won five meetings, drawn 10 games, and lost 12 matches.

Playing at home, Arminia have won two meetings, drawn seven fixtures, and lost four games.

A victory for Arminia Bielefeld would put them on 28 points.

This season’s Bundesliga campaign, has so far seen Stuttgart achieve 26 points

With a win in their previous game, (3-2) against Augsburg, Stuttgart will likely be in a positive frame of mind.

Also, suffering 10 losses in 18 matches is a terrible run of form for any club, Pellegrino Matarazzo’s Stuttgart will know this and will be hopeful of turning it around. With a fourteenth position in the league and 6 wins, 13 losses and 8 draws, they currently have 26 points in the League having won six meetings, drawn eight fixtures, and lost 13 meetings.

It must be a worrying prospect for Stuttgart to go back on the road, with a bud run of away performances under their belt this season. So far they have only secured one victory, five darts, and seven defeats to the home team.

Winning this fixture will see Stuttgart on 29 points.

Pellegrino Matarazzo could be missing up to four of their players through injury or illness for the game on Saturday.
