On Saturday, Arminia and Hertha were held to a 1-1 draw at the Schüco Arena. Arminia were looking forward to meeting again, following a previous defeat to FC Köln. Hertha were hoping to increase their winning streak after back-to-back victories against Stuttgart and Augsburg. At the moment, Arminia are in 17th place, with 27 points from 32 matches, while Hertha sit in 15th, with 33 points from 32.

After an un-eventful first half, The Old Lady certainly were out of the blocks quickly in the second half, thanks to a goal from Lucas Tousart at the 54 minute mark. In the end though, their celebrations were kept brief, as Joakim Nilsson equalised for The Blues just before the final whistle and seeing the game end 1-1.

For Arminia, Janni Serra, Florian Kruger, George Bello and Robin Hack, came on for Burak Ince, Manuel Prietl, Jacob Laursen and Gonzalo Castro. Hertha replaced Kevin-Prince Boateng, Marvin Plattenhardt, Davie Selke, Marco Richter and Suat Serdar for Niklas Stark, Fredrik Bjorkan, Luca Wollschlager, Linus Jasper Gechter and Maximilian Mittelstadt.

There were bookings for Nathan De Medina, Patrick Wimmer and Fabian Kunze from Arminia. For Hertha, Marco Richter saw yellow.

Arminia will play away against Bochum, while Hertha will face Mainz at home.
