River’s 1-0 win over San Lorenzo on Sunday, was hard fought at Estadio Pedro Bidegain. San Lorenzo were looking for a victory following a disappointing 0-0 draw with Colón in their previous game. River started strongly in the first half, when Emanuel Mammana gave them the lead just before half-time, ending the first half 1-0. Both teams unable to deliver anything further, the score remained at 1-0 at full time.

Substitutions for San Lorenzo included Andres Vombergar, Ivan Leguizamon, Agustin Martegani and Nicolas Blandi for Adam Bareiro, Agustin Giay, Ezequiel Cerutti and Malcom Braida, respectively. River brought on Agustin Palavecino, Matias Suárez, Miguel Angel Borja, Tomas Pochettino and Javier Pinola, to replace Santiago Simon, Lucas Beltran, Pablo Solari, Ezequiel Barco and Nicolás De La Cruz.
