Barracas C. 1-1 Newell’s: Old Boys cancel out home advantage

Barracas C. and Newell’s drew 1-1 in their final match of the la Superliga Argentina season. Following the final whistle at the end of the last match of the la Superliga Argentina season for both sides, Barracas C. are now in 17th place on the table and have 34 points while Newell’s sit in 11th with 40 points after 27 matches.

The first half of the match started favourably for Barracas C., when Fernando Valenzuela found the net just before half-time

Newell’s took the lead in the second half, thanks to a goal from Ramiro Sordo, at 59 minutes. The match ended 1-1.

Substitutions for Barracas C. included Facundo Castro, Neri Bandiera and Dylan Emanuel Glaby for Cristian Colman, Juan Manuel Vazquez and Maximiliano Rodriguez, respectively. Newell’s brought on Tomas Jacob, Cristian Ferreira, Ramiro Sordo, Marcos Portillo and Guillermo Balzi, to replace Armando Mendez, Marcelo Cesar Esponda, Juan Fernando Garro, Julian Fernandez and Francisco Agustin Gonzalez.

There were bookings for Braian Salvareschi from Barracas C. For Newell’s, Martin Luciano, Julian Fernandez, Lautaro Morales and Cristian Ferreira saw yellow.
