San Lorenzo strolled past Defensa and Justicia with a 1-0 win on Saturday at Estadio Pedro Bidegain. San Lorenzo arrived at the match looking to pick up more points after losing their last match 2-0 to Lanús. Huracán had been hopeful of extending their winning run, after a 3-1 victory against Banfield. San Lorenzo are now in 12th place on the table and have 30 points while Huracán sit in 4th with 37 points after 22 matches.

It was an impressive opening from San Lorenzo, with an early goal from Ezequiel Cerutti in the 3rd minute to see them go in at half time 1-0 up. With both teams struggling to produce anything meaningful in the second half though, the match ended 1-0.

Substitutions for San Lorenzo included Francisco Perruzzi, Ivan Leguizamon, Andres Vombergar, Nestor Ortigoza and Agustin Martegani for Jalil Elias, Ezequiel Cerutti, Nahuel Barrios, Adam Bareiro and Ignacio Mendez, respectively. Huracán brought on Patricio Pizarro, Enzo Luna and Maicol Cabrera, to replace Guillermo Soto, Rodrigo Cabral and Santiago Hezze.

There were bookings for Ignacio Mendez, Federico Gattoni, Adam Bareiro, Gaston Hernandez, Agustin Martegani and Nestor Ortigoza from San Lorenzo, and Fernando Tobio, Santiago Hezze, Walter Gabriel Perez and Federico Fattori, for Huracán.

San Lorenzo will next travel to Godoy Cruz, while Huracán will face Talleres Córdoba at home.
