San Lorenzo 3-0 Aldosivi: Bad day for visitors as San Lorenzo rampant

Aldosivi experienced an away defeat to San Lorenzo at Estadio Pedro Bidegain on Saturday. San Lorenzo were looking to continue their good run after winning their previous two matches in the competition. The most recent was against the CA Sarmiento away (4-2), the other to Gimnasia La Plata away (1-0). Aldosivi were beaten 3-1 in their previous match against Talleres Córdoba. Following the final whistle at the end of the last match of the la Superliga Argentina season for both sides, San Lorenzo are now in 7th place on the table and have 43 points while Aldosivi sit in 28th with 16 points after 27 matches.

The first half of the match started well for San Lorenzo, when Malcom Braida opened the rout, at 8 minutes. However they weren’t finished yet and Andres Vombergar made it 2-0, 23 minutes in to see out the first half 2-0.

San Lorenzo continued to pile on the pressure in the second half and were rewarded, when Andres Vombergar found the net once more, at 78 minutes, seing the match finish 3-0.

Substitutions for San Lorenzo included Nestor Ortigoza, Ivan Leguizamon, Ignacio Mendez, Gonzalo Lujan Melli and Nicolas Blandi for Ezequiel Cerutti, Nahuel Barrios, Jalil Elias, Agustin Giay and Adam Bareiro, respectively. Aldosivi brought on Facundo Sebastian De La Vega, Elias David Torres, Lucio Falasco, Joaquin Indacoechea and Facundo Tobares, to replace Juan Manuel Cuesta, Rufino Lucero, Tobias Cervera, Maciel and Javier Iritier.

There were bookings for Adam Bareiro from San Lorenzo. For Aldosivi, Maciel saw yellow.
