Racing 1-0 Patronato: Lone Hauche goal seals the points for Racing

On Wednesday, Patronato suffered an away defeat to Racing Club at Estadio Juan Domingo Peron. Racing were hoping to get something from this game, following defeat to Estudiantes La Plata. Patronato, meanwhile, had been hopeful of extending their winning run, after a 1-0 victory against CA Platense. Racing and Patronato currently occupy 6th and 9th spots in the league, with 31 points and 27 points respectively after 19 matches.

Following a goalless first half, Racing applied pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to a goal from Gabriel Hauche, 65 minutes in, leaving the final score at 1-0.

Substitutions for Racing included Nicolas Oroz, Ivan Pillud, Patricio Tanda and Roman Fernandez for Gabriel Hauche, Eugenio Mena, Maximiliano Romero and Emiliano Vecchio, respectively. Patronato brought on Juan Pablo Barinaga, Justo Giani, Matias Pardo, Alexander Sosa and Juan Guasone, to replace Jorge Valdez Chamorro, Jonathan Herrera, Franco Leys, Sebastian Medina and Leonel Mosevich.

There were bookings for Facundo Mura and Leonardo Sigali from Racing. For Patronato, Sebastian Medina and Axel Rodriguez saw yellow.

Racing will next travel to CA Platense, while Patronato will face Rosario Central at home.
