Lanús 2-0 San Lorenzo: Comfortable home win for Lanús

Lanús beated San Lorenzo 2-0 on Saturday at Estadio Ciudad de Lanus. Lanús were looking to continue their good run, following a 2-1 victory against Banfield. San Lorenzo had lost their previous match against River. Lanús and San Lorenzo currently occupy 26th and 15th spots in the league, with 17 points and 27 points respectively after 21 matches.

Lanús started the match strongly, when Leonel Di Placido found the net on the 31 minute mark, and they saw out the first half 1-0.

Lanús started strong in the second half and were able to dominate, thanks to a goal from Brian Blando on the 54 minute mark, seing the match finish 2-0.

Substitutions for Lanús included Samuel Careaga, Maximiliano Gonzalez, Lucas Varaldo and Julio Cesar Soler for Franco Orozco, Facundo Perez, Brian Blando and Julian Aude, respectively. San Lorenzo brought on Nicolas Blandi, Tomas Silva, Agustin Martegani, Matias Hernandez and Nestor Ortigoza for Agustin Giay, Nahuel Barrios, Malcom Braida, Ignacio Mendez and Ivan Leguizamon.

There were bookings for Leonel Di Placido from Lanús. For San Lorenzo, Gaston Hernandez saw yellow.

Lanús will next travel to Talleres Córdoba, while San Lorenzo will face Defensa and Justicia at home.
