Lanús 0 – Patronato 1: Visitors at Estadio Ciudad de Lanus secure victory

Lanús fell to a home defeat at the hands of Patronato at Estadio Ciudad de Lanus on Friday. Both Lanús and Patronato arrived at the match with previous defeats in the league. Lanús were looking to get back to winning ways after losing 3-1 to Estudiantes La Plata in their previous fixture, while Patronato were beaten 1-0 in their previous match against River. Lanús are now in 27th place, with 20 points from 25 matches, while Patronato sit in 12th, with 34 points from 25.

After a goalless first half, Patronato continued to apply pressure in the second period and were rewarded, when Jonas Acevedo found the net in the 68th minute, leaving the final score at 1-0.

Substitutions for Lanús included Guillermo De Amores, Brian Blando and Franco Orozco for Fernando Monetti, Franco Troyansky and Tomas Belmonte, respectively.
