Huracán 1-0 Talleres: Huracán hold down fourth with a win

Defensa and Justicia banked all three points against the Talleres Córdoba in a narrow 1-0 victory on Friday, at Estadio Tomas Adolfo Duco. Both teams arrived at the match with previous defeats in the league. Huracán were hoping to get something from this game after losing 1-0 to San Lorenzo in their previous fixture. Talleres were beaten 1-0 in their previous match against Lanús. Huracán and Talleres currently occupy 4th and 23rd spots in the table, with 40 points and 25 points respectively after 23 matches.

Following a goalless first half, Huracán applied pressure in the second, when Santiago Hezze found the net on the 57 minute mark, seing the match finish 1-0.

Substitutions for Huracán included Maicol Cabrera, Enzo Luna, Gabriel Gudino and Fernando Godoy for Matias Coccaro, Rodrigo Cabral, Benjamin Garre and Franco Cristaldo, respectively. Talleres brought on Alan Franco, Francisco Pizzini, Santiago Toloza, Maximiliano Gonzalo Alvez and Agustín Venezia for Ulises Ortegoza, Juan Cruz Giacone, Fabio Alvarez, Hector Fertoli and Christian Oliva.

There were bookings for Matias Coccaro and Santiago Hezze from Huracán, and Lucas Suarez, Maximiliano Gonzalo Alvez and Santiago Toloza, for Talleres.

Huracán will play away against Argentinos Juniors, while Talleres will face Godoy Cruz at home.
