Defensa and Justicia 3-2 Aldosivi: Visitors overturned in thrilling second-half

Aldosivi on away loss to Defensa and Justicia at Estadio Norberto Tomaghello on Tuesday. Defensa and Justicia were hoping to get something from this game, following a previous defeat to Gimnasia La Plata. Aldosivi, on the other hand, were looking to extend their winning run after a 2-1 victory against Rosario Central. As the table looks today, Defensa and Justicia and Aldosivi currently occupy 21st and 28th spots in the league, with 7 points and 4 points respectively after 7 matches.

The first half of the match started well for Aldosivi, when Braian Martinez gave Aldosivi the lead, 11 minutes in. Aldosivi then scored once more and increased their advantage thanks to a goal from Bautista Kociubinski, 17 minutes in, finishing the first half 2-0.

Defensa and Justicia continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to a goal from Lucas Albertengo in the 57th minute. Defensa and Justicia looked to have the match under control when they scored again and increased their lead, thanks to a goal from Tomas Ezequiel Galvan, at 62 minutes to establish a 2-2. However they weren’t finished yet and Nicolas Tripichio made it 3-2 in the 74th minute with a final score of 3-2.

Substitutions for Defensa and Justicia included Gabriel Alanis, Tomas Ezequiel Galvan, Manuel Duarte and Lucas Souto for Juan Gabriel Rodriguez, Alexis Soto, Fabricio Dominguez and Nicolas Fernandez, repectively. Aldosivi brought on Mario Lopez, Matias Pisano, Santiago Laquidain and Tobias Cervera, to replace Marcelo Meli, Braian Martinez, Fernando Aurelio Roman Villalba and Bautista Kociubinski.

Defensa and Justicia will next travel to CA Sarmiento, while Aldosivi will face Atlético Tucumán at home.
