Central Córdoba 3 – Godoy Cruz 0: Bad day for visitors at Estadio Alfredo Terrera

Central Córdoba cruises against Godoy Cruz on a home win at Estadio Alfredo Terrera on Saturday. Central Córdoba arrived at the match looking to pick up more points, following defeat to Defensa and Justicia. Godoy Cruz were coming from consecutive wins against Arsenal de Sarandi and Newell’s Old Boys. Central Córdoba are now in 23rd place, with 18 points from 18 matches, while Godoy Cruz sit in 4th, with 31 points from 18.

Central Córdoba found the net first, when Alejandro Martinez opened the rout, 11 minutes in, which saw the first half end 1-0.

Central Córdoba once more applied the pressure in the second period and were rewarded, when Renzo Lopez found the net, 58 minutes in. They then scored again, pulling level thanks to a second effort from Alejandro Martinez on the 76 minute mark to make it 3-0.

Substitutions for Central Córdoba included Gonzalo Rios, Fernando Martinez, Gonzalo Torres and Matias Ezequiel Di Benedetto for Juan Kaprof, Hernan Lopez Munoz, Alejandro Martinez and Ivan Ramirez, respectively.
