Platense 1-2 Colón: Santa Fe march on to another victory

Colón banked all three points against the CA Platense in a 2-1 victory on Sunday, at Estadio Ciudad de Vicente Lopez.. Colón were hoping to continue their winning streak after back-to-back victories against Patronato and Estudiantes La Plata.

After a goalless first half, Colón continued to apply pressure in the second period and were rewarded, when Ramiro Gonzalez gave them the lead on the 73 minute mark. However, the good fortune didn’t last for long. An equalizer from Jorge Benitez, at 87 minutes brought level. In the end though, Colón took the victory following a Ramon Abila goal just before the full time, which sealed the victory for the visitors.

Both teams used all available substitutes., Colón brought on Juan Sanchez Mino, Juan Pablo Alvarez, Facundo Taborda and Stefano Moreyra, to replace Leonel Picco, Santiago Pierotti, Brian Farioli and Cristian Bernardi.
