Unión La Calera 2 – Colo Colo 1: Home fans rewarded with victory at Municipal Nicolas Chahuan

Unión La Calera beat Colo Colo with a thumping 2-1 victory on Monday at Municipal Nicolas Chahuan. Unión La Calera wanted to improve their league standing following a disappointing 1-1 draw with Antofagasta in their previous game. Colo Colo were coming from consecutive wins against Palestino and Antofagasta. After today’s result, Unión La Calera are currently 12th with 26 points from 23 matches, while Colo Colo sit in 1st, with 48 points from 23.

The first half of the match started favourably for Colo Colo, with a goal from Gabriel Costa at the 26 minute mark, which saw the first half end 1-0.

Unión La Calera continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, when Cristian Vilches found the net at the 84 minute mark. However they weren’t finished yet and Cristian Vilches made it 2-1 just before the final whistle with a final score of 2-1.
