Antofagasta 0-2 U. Católica: Fifth-placed Católica secure good road win

U. Católica defeated Antofagasta 2-0 on Sunday at Regional de Antofagasta. Antofagasta were looking to get back to winning ways after losing their last match 3-0 to Everton Viña del Mar. U. Católica, meanwhile, had secured a point against Audax Italiano in their previous match. Following this match, Antofagasta are now in 16th place on the table and have 26 points while U. Católica sit in 5th with 45 points after 30 matches.

U. Católica found the net first, with a goal from Cesar Pinares just before half-time, saw out the first half 1-0.

U. Católica continued to pile on the pressure in the second period and were rewarded, when Cesar Pinares found the net once more, 75 minutes in. The match ended with a 2-0 victory for the visitors.
