Colo Colo 1-0 Palestino: Los Albos keep winning streak going

Colo Colo beated Palestino 1-0 on Monday at Monumental David Arellano. Colo Colo were looking to pick up points after winning their previous two matches against Antofagasta at home and Univ de Chile away, by 1-0 and 3-1 respectively. Palestino, on the other hand, secured a point against Audax Italiano in their previous match. As things stand, Colo Colo and Palestino currently occupy 1st and 4th spots in the table, with 48 points and 34 points respectively after 22 matches.

After an uneventful first half, Colo Colo piled on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to a goal from Marcos Bolados just before the final whistle, leaving the final score at 1-0.

Substitutions for Colo Colo included Cristian Zavala, Marco Rojas, Marcos Bolados and Vicente Pizarro for Gabriel Costa, Alexander Oroz, Agustin Bouzat and Juan Lucero, repectively. Palestino brought on Dilan Salgado, Franco Pardo and Sebastian Cabrera, to replace Felipe Chamorro, Benjamin Rojas and Jonathan Benitez.

There were bookings for Alexander Oroz, Oscar Opazo, Maximiliano Falcon and Matias Zaldivia from Colo Colo. For Palestino, Benjamin Rojas, Ariel Martinez and Jose Bizama saw yellow.

Colo Colo will next travel to Unión La Calera, while Palestino will face Curicó Unido at home.
