PSG 4-3 Troyes: Les Parisiens survive a test at the Parc des Princes
PSG enjoyed a home victory against Troyes at the Parc des Princes on Saturday. Troyes scored first, with an early goal from Mama Balde in the 3rd minute. However, their celebrations were kept brief, as Carlos Soler equalised for PSG, 24 minutes in and saw the first half out 1-1.
Troyes started strong in the second half and were able to dominate, when Mama Balde found the net once more in the 52nd minute. However, their lead was short-lived, as an equalizer from Lionel Messi, 55 minutes in, brought Les Parisiens level. The momentum was again with PSG, who then scored again courtesy of a goal from Neymar on the 62 minute mark to establish a 3-2 result. The momentum was again with PSG, who then scored again courtesy of a goal from Kylian Mbappe, 77 minutes in to establish a 4-2 result. In the end though, Troyes pull-back just before the final whistle, with a goal from Ante Palaversa. The match ended 4-3 to PSG.
Substitutions for PSG included Marquinhos, Fabian Ruiz, Renato Sanches, Nuno Mendes and Pablo Sarabia for Presnel Kimpembe, Vitinha, Carlos Soler, Juan Bernat and Marco Verratti, respectively.
