Nice 1-0 Brest: The Eagles prevail in home win against The Pirates

Nice banked all three points against the Brest in a narrow 1-0 victory on Sunday, at Allianz Rivera. Nice were looking to pick up points after winning last match. Brest, meanwhile, had managed to pick up a point in their matchup with Reims. Nice are now in 9th place on the table and have 19 points while Brest sit in 19th with 10 points after 14 matches.

Following a goalless first half, whatever was said in the dressing room at half time, seemed to have a positive effect on The Eagles who started the second half strongly, when Gaetan Laborde gave them the lead on the 54 minute mark, seing the match finish 1-0.

Substitutions for Nice included Sofiane Diop, Kephren Thuram-Ulien, Joe Bryan, Andy Delort and Antoine Mendy for Billal Brahimi, Mario Lemina, Youcef Atal, Nicolas Pepe and Jordan Lotomba, respectively. Brest replaced Jeremy Le Douaron, Mahdi Camara, Franck Honorat, Romain Del Castillo and Haris Belkebla for Tairyk Arconte, Mathias Pereira Lage, Irvin Cardona, Karamoko Dembele and Axel Camblan.

There were bookings for Hicham Boudaoui from Nice. For Brest, Jeremy Le Douaron saw yellow.

Nice will next travel to Lyon, while Brest will face Troyes at home.
