Montpellier 0 – Nice 0: La Paillade play out goalless draw at the Stade de la Mosson

Montpellier were held to 0-0 draw by Nice down on Saturday at the Stade de la Mosson. Montpellier arrived at the game looking pick up points after losing their last game 2-0 to Nantes. Nice, on the other hand, were looking to extend their winning run after a 1-0 victory against Paris Saint-Germain. As it stands, Montpellier are in 11th place, with 38 points from 28 matches, while Nice sit in 2nd, with 50 points from 28.

For Montpellier, Sacha Delaye, Junior Sambia and Beni Makouana, came on for Florent Mollet, Arnaud Souquet and Valere Germain. Nice brought on Morgan Schneiderlin, Billal Brahimi, Kasper Dolberg, Kephren Thuram-Ulien and Evann Guessand, to replace Hicham Boudaoui, Amine Gouiri, Andy Delort, Mario Lemina and Calvin Stengs.

The referee booked Maxime Esteve, Sepe Elye Wahi and Beni Makouana from Montpellier. Nice had the worst of it though, with Jordan Lotomba and Hicham Boudaoui seeing yellow, and Dante then sent off with a red.

Next up, Montpellier are away to Bordeaux, whilst Nice will travel to face Olympique de Marseille.
