Lyon 1 – Tolouse 1: Plenty of goals but no winner at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais

Lyon were helde ach other to a 1-1 draw by Tolouse on Friday at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais. Lyon were looking forward to playing again after losing 1-0 to RC Lens in their last match. Tolouse were coming from a 4-2 win against Montpellier. Lyon are now in 7th place on the table and have 14 points while Tolouse sit in 11th with 12 points after 10 matches.

Lyon started the match strongly, with an early goal from Tete in the 2nd minute to see them go in at half time 1-0 up.

Tolouse took the initiative in the second half, with a goal from Rafael Ratao in the 67th minute. The match ended wih a 1-1 draw.

Both coaches used the full entitlement. Substitutions for Lyon included Jeff Reine-Adelaide, Maxence Caqueret and Rayan Cherki for Moussa Dembele, Corentin Tolisso and Tete, respectively, Tolouse replaced Rafael Ratao, Denis Genreau and Moussa Diarra with Thijs Dallinga, Brecht Dejaegere and Branco Van den Boomen.

There were bookings for Karl Toko Ekambi and Rayan Cherki from Lyon. For Tolouse, Thijs Dallinga and Zakaria Aboukhlal saw yellow.

Lyon will next travel to Rennes, while Tolouse will face Angers SCO at home.
