Lorient 0 – RCSA 0: The Merlucciidaes crowd must settle for goal-less draw

Lorient were held to 0-0 draw by RCSA down on Sunday at the Stade Yves Allainmat. Both teams arrived at the challenge after previous wins. Lorient were keen to hang onto their position at the top of league and extend their winning run, following a 2-0 victory against Clermont Foot. RCSA were coming off the back of a 1-0 win against AS Mónaco. As it stands, Lorient are in 16th place on the table and has 28 points while RCSA sit in 5th with 48 points after 29 matches.

For Lorient, Enzo Le Fee, Dango Ouattara and Sambou Soumano, came on for Terem Moffi, Armand Lauriente and Ibrahima Kone. RCSA brought on Jean-Eudes Aholou, Habib Diallo, Moise Sahi Dion and Anthony Caci, to replace Sanjin Prcic, Ludovic Ajorque, Jeanricner Bellegarde and Kevin Gameiro.

There were bookings for Bonke Innocent and Dango Ouattara from Lorient, and Jeanricner Bellegarde and Lucas Perrin, for RCSA.

Lorient will next travel to Paris Saint-Germain, while RCSA will face RC Lens at home.
