Cleermont 0-5 PSG: Messi on target twice in easy win for PSG
Paris Saint-Germain started on the right in the new Ligue 1 campaign with victory against Clermont Foot. Today’s result, Cleermont are in 20th place, with 0 points from 1 match, while PSG sit in 1st, with 3 points from 1.
Les Parisiens started the first half well, when Neymar opened the rout, at 9 minutes. PSG looked to have the match under control when they scored again and increased their lead, thanks to a goal from Achraf Hakimi in the 26th minute to establish a 2-0. However they weren’t finished yet and Marquinhos made it 3-0 in the 38th minute. The first half ended 3-0.
PSG continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, when Lionel Messi found the net at the 80 minute mark. PSG then netted once more and increased their advantage thanks to a 2nd effort from Lionel Messi just before the final whistle with a final score of 5-0.
Substitutions for Cleermont included Yohann Magnin, Jodel Dossou, Saif-Eddine Khaoui and Brandon Baiye for Muhammed-Cham Saracevic, Jim Allevinah, Elbasan Rashani and Maxime Gonalons, repectively.
