Cleermont 1 – PSG 6: Les Parisiens deliver resounding show at Stade Gabriel Montpied

Paris Saint-Germain snatched all three points from Clermont Foot in a 6-1 victory on Saturday, at Stade Gabriel Montpied. Cleermont were hoping to get something from this game, following a previous defeat to Nantes while PSG were looking to extend their winning run after a 5-1 victory against FC Lorient. After today’s result, Cleermont and PSG currently occupy 17th and 1st spots in the table, with 28 points and 71 points respectively after 31 matches.

It was an impressive opening from Les Parisiens, with Neymar opening the rout after only 6 minutes. The momentum was now with PSG, who then scored again through a goal from Kylian Mbappe at the 19 minute mark to establish a 2-0. There were bookings for Johan Gastien from Cleermont. For PSG, Neymar saw yellow.

Cleermont will play away against FC Metz, while PSG will face Olympique de Marseille at home.
