Sunday’s Ligue 1 clash between Monaco and the visiting champions, kicks off at 1:00pm GMT at the Stade Louis II.

PSG go to the Stade Louis II with Champion’s League dreams for next season very much alive. They currently sit in first as they take on tenth placed Monaco.

With the Ligue 1 season well into its stride, AS Mónaco have managed to gain 41 points

Monaco must take a positive approach to this game, if they are to get anything out of, following their recent defeat to RC Strasburg at the Stade de La Meinau.

Also, Monaco need to get out of the losing habit, with two recorded in the last three games. With 41 points (11W, 9L and 8D), they are established in tenth position in the League having won 11 matches, drawn eight fixtures, and lost nine meetings.

When Monaco host PSG, they will do so on the back of seven victories, four darts, and three defeats on their own ground.

A win in this fixture, would take AS Mónaco’s points from 41 to 44, so far this season.

Monaco are likely to be missing two of their key players when they start Sunday’s game, due to injury and illness.

To retain first position in the Ligue 1 is Paris Saint-Germain’s target this week

Bordeaux were beaten 3-0 at the Parc des Princes, the last time that PSG played.

Also, League leaders PSG keep finding ways to win, having secured 12 victories in their last 19 games is astonishing this season, a rich vein of form that has drastically improved their Ligue 1 position. They are the current League leaders with 65 points, that is, 20 wins, 3 losses and 5 draws having won 20 fixtures, drawn five matches, and lost three meetings.

PSG’s away record is remarkable and poses a significant threat to Monaco. In the 14 games they’ve played on the road this season, they have so far won seven meetings, drawn four fixtures, and lost three games.

The ultimate prize this season will be for Paris Saint-Germain to finish top of the Ligue 1 and secure automatic qualification for the Champion’s League. However, they must play each game as it comes and secure the points, if that is to be achieved.

Good atacking and defensive team

PSG’s defence has been rock solid so far, only conceding 24 goals in their previous games. They have a good scoring stats of 59 goals. This is largely down to the efforts of their stand-out attackers – Kylian Mbappe (6), Danilo Pereira (4), and Marco Verratti (2).

PSG’s ever growing list of players missing due to injury or illness to be a concern for Mauricio Pochettino, ahead of this Sunday’s fixture against their opponents.
