Ajaccio 0 – PSG 3: Les Parisiens steal the show at Stade Francois Coty

Ajaccio were defeated at home by Paris Saint-Germain at Stade Francois Coty on Friday. Ajaccio arrived with the intention of improving their league position after a 1-1 draw against Troyes whilst PSG were able to continue their winning streak after a 1-0 win against Olympique de Marseille in their last match. Ajaccio are now in 18th place, with 8 points from 12 matches, while PSG sit in 1st, with 32 points from 12.

Les Parisiens started the match strongly, when Kylian Mbappe opened the rout, at 24 minutes, finishing the first half 1-0.

PSG continued to apply pressure in the second period and were rewarded, when Lionel Messi found the net, at 78 minutes. However they weren’t finished yet and Kylian Mbappe made it 3-0 on the 82 minute mark to give a final score of 3-0.

Substitutions for Ajaccio included Riad Nouri, Romain Hamouma, Mickael Barreto, Ismael Diallo and Thomas Mangani for Cyrille Bayala, Bevic Moussiti-Oko, Mounaim El Idrissy, Youssouf Kone and Youcef Belaili, respectively. PSG replaced Vitinha, Pablo Sarabia, Hugo Ekitike, El Chadaille Bitshiabu and Warren Zaire-Emery with Renato Sanches, Carlos Soler, Kylian Mbappe, Marquinhos and Fabian Ruiz.

The referee booked Marco Verratti for PSG.

Ajaccio will next travel to Auxerre, while PSG will face Troyes at home.
