Venezia 4 – Bologna 3: Arancioneroverdi jubilant after home win against The Greyhounds

On Sunday, Bologna suffer an away defeat to Venezia at Stadio Pierluigi Penzo. Venezia arrived at the game looking pick up points after losing their last game 2-1 to Juventus while Bologna secured a point against Roma in their previous match. As the table looks today, Venezia and Bologna currently occupy 20th and 13th spots in the table, with 25 points and 43 points respectively after 36 matches.
Venezia scored first, thanks to an early goal from Thomas Henry in the 4th minute. Venezia looked to have the game under control when they scored again and increased their lead, thanks to a goal from Sofian Kiyine in the 19th minute to establish a 2-0. However, The Greyhounds pull-back just before half-time, with a goal from Riccardo Orsolini, to take a 2-1 lead into half time.
The Greyhounds started the second half with an intensified spirit, with a goal from Marko Arnautovic, 55 minutes in. The momentum was now with Bologna, who then scored again through a goal from Jerdy Schouten at the 68 minute mark to establish a 3-2. However, they were unable to maintain their lead, Mattia Aramu managed to equalize and take the sides off, 78 minutes in at 3-3. Arancioneroverdi then netted once more and took the lead thanks to a goal from Dennis Johnsen just before the final whistle to make it 4-3.
