Spezia Calcio strolled past Udinese with a 3-2 win on Saturday at the Stadio Friuli. Udinese were looking for a victory following a disappointing 1-1 draw with Sassuolo in their previous game. Spezia, on the other hand, lost 3-1 in the last match they played against Atalanta. After today’s result, Udinese and Spezia are 12th, (44 points) and 16th, (33 points), spots respectively, after 37 matches.

Bianconeri found the net first, with Nahuel Molina giving Bianconeri the lead at the 26 minute mark. However, their lead was short-lived, as an equalizer from Daniele Verde at the 35 minute mark, brought Spezia level. Spezia looked to have the game under control when they scored again and increased their lead, thanks to a goal from Emmanuel Gyasi in the 45th minute to establish a 2-1. Spezia then scored once more and increased their advantage thanks to a goal from Giulio Maggiore just before half-time, finishing the first half 1-3.

Udinese took the initiative in the second half, thanks to Pablo Mari finding the net just before the final whistle, leaving the final score at 3-2.

For Udinese, Lazar Samardzic, Ilija Nestorovski, Brandon Soppy, Tolgay Arslan and Filip Benkovic, came on for Jean-Victor Makengo, Ignacio Pussetto, Iyenoma Destiny Udogie, Roberto Pereyra and Bram Nuytinck.
