Udinese 1 – Inter 2: Bianconeri humbled at home by Nerazzurri

Internazionale eased past Udinese in a 2-1 victory on Sunday at the Stadio Friuli. Udinese wanted to improve their league standing after a 2-2 draw against Bologna. Inter were hoping to increase their winning streak after back-to-back victories against Roma and Spezia Calcio. As the table looks today, Udinese and Inter currently occupy 12th and 2nd spots in the league, with 43 points and 75 points respectively after 35 matches.

Inter dominated the first half, with a goal from Ivan Perisic, 12 minutes in. Nerazzurri then scored once more and increased their advantage thanks to a goal from Lautaro Martinez at the 39 minute mark, to take a 0-2 lead into half time.

Bianconeri took the lead in the second half, thanks to a goal from Ignacio Pussetto, 72 minutes in. The final result, Udinese 1, Inter 2.

For Udinese, Ignacio Pussetto, Lazar Samardzic, Brandon Soppy and Mato Jajalo, came on for Isaac Success, Tolgay Arslan, Nahuel Molina and Roberto Pereyra. Inter brought on Joaquin Correa, Alexis Sanchez, Arturo Vidal, Danilo D`Ambrosio and Matias Vecino, to replace Edin Dzeko, Lautaro Martinez, Roberto Gagliardini, Federico Dimarco and Nicolo Barella.

There were bookings for Pablo Mari and Roberto Pereyra from Udinese. For Inter, Matias Vecino saw yellow.

Udinese will next travel to Sassuolo, while Inter will face Empoli at home.
