Torino 1 – Inter 1: Stalemate at the Stadio Olimpico di Torino against Nerazzurri

Torino were held to 1-1 draw by Inter down on Sunday at the Stadio Olimpico di Torino. Torino wanted to improve their league standing following a disappointing 0-0 draw with Bologna in their previous game. Inter, on the other hand, were able to continue their winning streak after a 5-0 win against Salernitana in their last match. As it stands, Torino are in 11th place on the table and has 35 points while Inter sit in 3rd with 59 points after 29 matches.

It was an impressive opening from Torino, with Bremer finding the net in the 12th minute, seeing out the first half 1-0.

Nerazzurri took the initiative in the second half, thanks to Alexis Sanchez finding the net just before the final whistle, leaving the final score at 1-1.

For Torino, Armando Izzo, Ricardo Rodriguez, Cristian Ansaldi, Antonio Sanabria and Samuele Ricci, came on for Koffi Djidji, Alessandro Buongiorno, Wilfried Stephane Singo, Andrea Belotti and Sasa Lukic. Inter replaced Robin Gosens, Federico Dimarco, Arturo Vidal, Alexis Sanchez and Joaquin Correa with Ivan Perisic, Alessandro Bastoni, Matias Vecino, Lautaro Martinez and Hakan Calhanoglu.

There were bookings for Armando Izzo from Torino, and Alessandro Bastoni, Andrea Ranocchia, Federico Dimarco, Robin Gosens and Nicolo Barella, for Inter.

Torino will next travel to Genoa, while Inter will face Fiorentina at home.
