Spezia 0-3 Napoli: Home side left shocked as Napoli records big win

Napoli ease to victory over Spezia Calcio 3-0 on Sunday at the Stadio Alberto Picco. This left, Spezia are in 16th place on the table and has 36 points while Napoli sit in 3rd with 79 points after 38 matches.

Napoli started strongly in the first half, with an early goal from Matteo Politano in the 4th minute. The momentum was now with Gli Azzurri, who then scored again through a goal from Piotr Zielinski, 25 minutes in to establish a 2-0. Napoli then scored again and increased their lead thanks to a goal from Diego Demme in the 36th minute. The score at half time was 0-3. With both teams struggling to produce anything meaningful in the second half though, the game ended 3-0.

For Spezia, Petar Zovko, Viktor Kovalenko, Aurelien Nguiamba, Eddie Salcedo and Nicolo Bertola, came on for Ivan Provedel, Janis Antiste, Giulio Maggiore, Kevin Agudelo and Martin Erlic. Napoli brought on Lorenzo Insigne, Dries Mertens, Victor Osimhen, Andre Zambo Anguissa and Davide Marfella, to replace Matteo Politano, Piotr Zielinski, Andrea Petagna, Diego Demme and Alex Meret.

There were bookings for Rey Manaj from Spezia, and Matteo Politano and Faouzi Ghoulam, for Napoli.
