Spezia 1 – Inter 3: Visitors ecstatic after win at the Stadio Alberto Picco

Internazionale defeat Spezia Calcio 3-1 on Friday at the Stadio Alberto Picco. Spezia were looking for a victory following a disappointing 0-0 draw with Empoli in their previous game. Inter were hoping to increase their winning streak after back-to-back victories against Hellas Verona and Juventus. As the table looks today, Spezia are in 15th place on the table and has 33 points while Inter sit in 1st with 69 points after 33 matches.
Nerazzurri started the game well, with Marcelo Brozovic giving Inter the lead, 31 minutes in, seeing out the first half 0-1.
Inter continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to Lautaro Martinez finding the net at the 73 minute mark. However, Spezia weren’t lying down and managed to pull back a goal from Giulio Maggiore at the 88 minute mark. Nerazzurri extended the margin thanks to a goal from Alexis Sanchez just before the final whistle. The final result, Spezia 1, Inter 3.
