Roma snatched all three points from Cremonese in a 1-0 victory on Monday, at Stadio Olimpico. Roma were looking to continue their run, following a 1-0 victory against Salernitana. After an uneventful first half, Roma applied pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Chris Smalling at the 65 minute mark so at full time it was 1-0 to Roma.

Substitutions for Roma included Stephan El Shaarawy, Nemanja Matic, Nicola Zalewski and Zeki Celik for Nicolo Zaniolo, Paulo Dybala, Leonardo Spinazzola and Rick Karsdorp, repectively.
