Lazio 1 – Milan 2: Rossoneri beat The White and Sky Blues at the Stadio Olympico

AC Milan beat Lazio with a thumping 2-1 victory on Sunday at the Stadio Olympico. Lazio wanted to improve their league standing following a disappointing 1-1 draw with Torino in their previous game. Milan, on the other hand, were coming from a 2-0 win against Genoa. After today’s result, Lazio are in 6th place on the table and has 56 points while Milan sit in 1st with 74 points after 34 matches.
The White and Sky Blues found the net first, thanks to an early goal from Ciro Immobile in the 4th minute, to take a 1-0 lead into half time.
Rossoneri started the second half with renewed vigour, with an early goal from Olivier Giroud in the 50th minute. Milan then scored once more and turned the match thanks to a goal from Sandro Tonali just before the final whistle with a final score of 2-1.
For Lazio, Toma Basic, Danilo Cataldi, Adam Marusic, Elseid Hysaj and Luiz Felipe, came on for Luis Alberto, Lucas Leiva, Stefan Radu, Manuel Lazzari and Patric. Milan brought on Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ante Rebic, Rade Krunic and Alexis Saelemaekers, to replace Brahim Diaz, Olivier Giroud, Junior Messias and Rafael Leao.
There were bookings for Thomas Strakosha, Lucas Leiva and Danilo Cataldi from Lazio, and Fikayo Tomori, Pierre Kalulu, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Sandro Tonali, for Milan.
Lazio will play their next game away against Spezia Calcio, while Milan will face Fiorentina at home.
