Juve 2 – Venezia 1: The Old Lady triumph over Arancioneroverdi at the Allianz Stadium

Juve enjoyed a mesmerising home victory against Venezia at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday. Juve were looking to pick up points, following a 2-1 victory against Sassuolo whilst Venezia had lost their previous match against Atalanta. As things stand, Juve are in 4th place, with 69 points from 35 matches, while Venezia sit in 20th, with 22 points from 35.

Juve started the first half well, thanks to Leonardo Bonucci giving The Old Lady the lead early in the first half, finishing the first half 1-0.

Arancioneroverdi took the lead in the second half, with Mattia Aramu finding the net at the 71 minute mark. Juve in turn, then responded, at 76 minutes increasing their lead with a second effort from Leonardo Bonucci, leaving the final score at 2-1.

For Juve, Paulo Dybala, Alex Sandro, Moise Kean, Arthur and Giorgio Chiellini, came on for Federico Bernardeschi, Luca Pellegrini, Alvaro Morata, Dusan Vlahovic and Fabio Miretti. Venezia brought on Luca Fiordilino, Sofian Kiyine, Dor Peretz, Maximilian Ullmann and David Okereke, to replace Antonio Vacca, Mickael Cuisance, Domen Crnigoj, Ales Mateju and Ridgeciano Haps.

There were bookings for Denis Zakaria, Luca Pellegrini and Alex Sandro from Juve. For Venezia, Sofian Kiyine, Mattia Aramu and Ridgeciano Haps saw yellow.

Juve will next play Genoa away, with Venezia facing Bologna at home.
