Inter 2 – Verona 0: The Yellow and Blues beaten away by Nerazzurri

Hellas Verona on away loss to Inter at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Saturday. Both Inter and Verona arrived in good form, having secured victories in their previous matches. Inter were keen to hang onto their position at the top of league and extend their winning run after winning last match. Verona, on the other hand, were looking to extend their winning run after a 1-0 victory against Genoa. As it stands, Inter and Verona currently occupy 2nd and 9th spots in the table, with 66 points and 45 points respectively after 32 matches.
Nerazzurri dominated the first half, with Nicolo Barella giving Inter the lead in the 22nd minute. However they weren’t finished yet and Edin Dzeko made it 2-0, at 30 minutes, which saw the first half end 2-0. Both teams unable to deliver anything further, the score remained at 2-0 at full time.
For Inter, Danilo D`Ambrosio, Robin Gosens, Arturo Vidal, Alessandro Bastoni and Roberto Gagliardini, came on for Stefan De Vrij, Joaquin Correa, Nicolo Barella, Federico Dimarco and Hakan Calhanoglu. Verona brought on Fabio Depaoli, Kevin Lasagna, Matteo Cancellieri and Bosko Sutalo, to replace Davide Faraoni, Daniel Bessa, Darko Lazovic and Federico Ceccherini.
The referee booked Denzel Dumfries and Marcelo Brozovic for Inter.
