Cremonese 0-4 Lazio: Ciro Immobile inspires Lazio to big road win

Lazio cruises against Cremonese on an away win at Stadio Giovanni Zini on Sunday. USC arrived with the intention of improving their league position after a 1-1 draw against Atalanta whilst Lazio were able to continue their winning streak after a 2-0 win against Hellas Verona in their last match. USC are now in 19th place, with 2 points from 7 matches, while Lazio sit in 3rd, with 14 points from 7.

The White and Sky Blues started strongly in the first half, when Ciro Immobile opened the rout early in the first half. Lazio looked to have the match under control when they scored again and increased their lead, thanks to a second effort from Ciro Immobile, 21 minutes in to establish a 2-0. They then scored again, pulling level thanks to a goal from Sergej Milinkovic-Savic just before half-time, finishing the first half 3-0.

Lazio continued to pile on the pressure in the second period and were rewarded, when Pedro found the net, at 79 minutes, seing the match finish 4-0.

Substitutions for USC included Matteo Bianchetti, Santiago Ascacibar, Johan Vasquez, Charles Pickel and Tommaso Milanese for Vlad Chiriches, Gonzalo Escalante, Luka Lochoshvili, Soualiho Meite and Luca Zanimacchia, respectively. Lazio brought on Pedro, Alessio Romagnoli, Luis Alberto, Toma Basic and Mario Gila, to replace Mattia Zaccagni, Nicolo Casale, Matias Vecino, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Patric.

There were bookings for Johan Vasquez from USC. For Lazio, Nicolo Casale saw yellow.

USC will play their next fixture away against Lecce, while Lazio will face Spezia Calcio at home.
