USC 0 – Milan 0: Frustration all round after goalless draw

USC were helde ach other to a 0-0 draw by Milan on Tuesday at Stadio Giovanni Zini. USC arrived with the intention of improving their league position after a 2-2 draw against Salernitana. Milan, meanwhile, were looking to extend their winning run after a 2-1 victory against Spezia Calcio. USC are now in 18th place on the table and have 7 points while Milan sit in 2nd with 30 points after 14 matches.

Substitutions for USC included Leonardo Sernicola, Cristian Buonaiuto, David Okereke, Charles Pickel and Giacomo Quagliata for Paolo Ghiglione, Felix Afena-Gyan, Daniel Ciofani, Michele Castagnetti and Emanuele Valeri, respectively. Milan brought on Rafael Leao, Pierre Kalulu, Charles De Ketelaere, Marco Lazetic and Rade Krunic, to replace Divock Origi, Malick Thiaw, Brahim Diaz, Ante Rebic and Sandro Tonali.

There were bookings for Paolo Ghiglione, Johan Vasquez, Emanuele Valeri and Soualiho Meite from USC, and Rafael Leao, Marco Lazetic and Charles De Ketelaere, for Milan.

USC will next travel to Empoli, while Milan will face Fiorentina at home.
