Cagliari 1 – Napoli 1: Points shared at Unipol Domus after draw

Cagliari were held to 1-1 draw by Napoli down on Monday at Unipol Domus. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were keen to pick up points. Cagliari wanted to continue adding points after a 1-1 draw against Empoli. Napoli had managed to pick up a single point in their encounter with Internazionale. As it stands, Cagliari are 17th with 22 points from 26 matches, while Napoli sit in 3rd, with 54 points from 26.

After an un-eventful first half, Cagliari fought back the second half, thanks to Gaston Pereiro finding the net, at 58 minutes. In the end though, their celebrations were kept brief, as Victor Osimhen equalised for Napoli just before the final whistle, leaving the final score at 1-1.
