Atalanta beat Sampdoria with a thumping 4-0 victory on Monday at the Gewiss Stadium. Atalanta were hoping to get something from this game, following a previous defeat to Fiorentina. After today’s result, Atalanta are in 5th place, with 47 points from 27 matches, while Sampdoria sit in 15th, with 26 points from 27.

Atalanta continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with Teun Koopmeiners finding the net again at the 61 minute mark. However they weren’t finished yet and Aleksey Miranchuk made it 4-0 just before the final whistle to make it 4-0.

For Atalanta, Aleksey Miranchuk, Joakim Maehle, Giuseppe Pezzella, Giorgio Scalvini and Giorgio Cittadini, came on for Jeremie Boga, Hans Hateboer, Matteo Pessina, Davide Zappacosta and Rafael Toloi.
