Inter looked to have the match under control when they scored again and increased their lead, thanks to a goal from Jose Luis Palomino, at 61 minutes to establish a 3-1. In the end though, Atalanta pull-back following a Jose Luis Palomino goal, 77 minutes in. When the final whistle blew, the result was 3-2 to Inter.
