Atalanta 1-1 Cremonese: Quick response earns visitors a point

Atalanta were helde ach other to a 1-1 draw by USC on Sunday at the Gewiss Stadium. Atalanta were looking to continue their good run after winning their previous two matches in the league. The most recent was against the AC Monza away (2-0), the other to Torino at home (3-1) whilst USC had managed to pick up a point in their matchup with Sassuolo. Atalanta and USC are 2nd, (14 points) and 18th, (2 points), spots respectively, after 6 matches.

After a goalless first half, Atalanta took the initiative in the second half, with a goal from Merih Demiral on the 74 minute mark. In the end though, their lead was short-lived, as Emanuele Valeri equalised for USC, 78 minutes in, leaving the final score at 1-1.
