On Sunday, Juventus suffered an away defeat to AC Monza at Stadio Brianteo. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were each keen to pick up points. ASS were looking for a victory following a 1-1 draw with Lecce in their previous game. Juve were struggling for form following a draw in their last match. ASS are now in 18th place, with 4 points from 7 matches, while Juve sit in 8th, with 10 points from 7.

Following a goalless first half, ASS piled on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, when Chris Gytkjaer gave them the lead, 74 minutes in so at full time it was 1-0 to ASS.

Substitutions for ASS included Andrea Barberis, Chris Gytkjaer, Luca Caldirola, Andrea Colpani and Samuele Birindelli for Stefano Sensi, Dany Mota, Marlon, Gianluca Caprari and Carlos Augusto, respectively. Juve replaced Moise Kean, Nicolo Fagioli and Matias Soule with Filip Kostic, Fabio Miretti and Mattia De Sciglio.

The referee booked Patrick Ciurria and Luca Caldirola from ASS. Juve had the worst of it though, with Bremer seeing yellow, and Angel Di Maria then sent off with a red.

ASS will next travel to Sampdoria, while Juve will face Bologna at home.
