Milan 2 – Atalanta 0: Victory for Rossoneri at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza

AC Milan snatched all three points from Atalanta in a 2-0 victory on Sunday, at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. Both teams arrived in good form, having secured victories in their previous matches. Milan were keen to hang onto their position at the top of league and extend their winning run after winning their previous two matches against Hellas Verona away and Fiorentina at home, by 3-1 and 1-0 respectively. As the table looks today, Milan are in 1st place, with 80 points from 37 matches, while Atalanta sit in 8th, with 59 points from 37.
After an un-eventful first half, Milan piled on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, thanks to a goal from Rafael Leao in the 56th minute. They then scored again, increasing their advantage thanks to a goal from Theo Hernandez at the 75 minute mark to make it 2-0.
