Internacional 3-3 São Paulo: Six-goal spectacle ends in a draw
Internacional were held to 3-3 draw by São Paulo down on Thursday at Estadio Beira-Rio. With both teams drawing in their previous fixtures, they were keen to pick up points. Internacional wanted to improve their league standing following a disappointing 0-0 draw with Athletico Paranaense in their previous game. São Paulo, on the other hand, are struggling for form following a draw in their last match. As things stand, Internacional are in 5th place in the table and have 30 points while São Paulo sit in 9th with 25 points after 18 matches.
It was an impressive opening from Internacional, with an early goal from Pedro Henrique in the 4th minute. However, their lead didn’t last for long, Maycon Nikao producing an equaliser in the 10th minute, bringing São Paulo level. São Paulo started strong in the second half and were able to dominate, thanks to a goal from Luciano, 54 minutes in, leaving the final score at 3-3.

São Paulo brought on Welington, Diego, Igor Gomes, Eder and Pablo Maia, to replace Marcos Guilherme, Lucas Beraldo, Rodrigo Nestor, Maycon Nikao and Talles Costa.
